The Unicorn Blend returns for its fourteenth edition β and #14 is characteristically playful, sweet, and full of surprise. This year's iteration brings together a washed Ethiopia from Taferi Kela and a natural Sidra lot from El Diviso in Colombia, creating a blend where Ethiopian clarity and fruit-driven structure meets the exotic, lush sweetness that Sidra is celebrated for. The result is a filter coffee of genuine complexity β blueberries, a memorable spicy candy note, spiced tea warmth, and a creamy milk chocolate finish. Naughty as ever, but beautifully constructed.

Each edition of the Unicorn Blend is a fresh composition from The Naughty Dog, built around the finest lots available at the time of blending. Edition #14 pairs two contrasting origins that complement rather than compete:
The Ethiopia Taferi Kela Washed component brings the structural backbone β crisp clarity, blueberry brightness, and the characteristic floral lift of high-altitude washed Ethiopian coffee. Taferi Kela is a washing station in the Yirgacheffe region known for producing clean, transparent lots that allow the native Heirloom varieties to express themselves fully.
The Colombia El Diviso Sidra Natural adds the magic. Sidra is a rare Colombian variety of Ecuadorian origin, celebrated for its unusual combination of tropical sweetness, floral complexity, and rich body. Processed naturally at El Diviso β Nestor Lasso's farm in Huila β the cherry fermentation amplifies Sidra's inherent sweetness into something that reads as spiced candy and lush tropical fruit in the cup. Together with the Ethiopian component, the blend achieves a balance that is both whimsical and genuinely delicious.

Sweet, higher in acidity, and characterfully complex.
